Maintenance
1. Perform low-pressure flushing with feed or product water to remove concentrated water and contaminants from equipment operation.
2. Prepare the cleaning solution according to the manufacturer's instructions.
3. Add the cleaning solution to the first section and hold for 60 minutes, at which time you may need to adjust the flow rate to allow for a slow increase in flow to prevent the removal of contaminants from clogging the feedwater channel. Before returning the cleaning solution to the RO cleaning tank should be discharged from the system out of the top of the water and just started 20% of the cleaning solution. When the PH value changes more than 0.5 units, re-adjust to the target value.
4. Optional immersion and recirculation steps are available. The soaking time is from 1 hour to overnight, depending on the manufacturer's recommendations. However, care should be taken to maintain the correct temperature and pH and this will also increase the contact time of the membrane with the cleaning chemicals.
