Maintenance
After a period of normal operation, membrane elements can become contaminated with suspended or insoluble material that may be present in the feed water. Cleaning should be carried out in a timely manner when the performance of the system decreases by 10% under standard conditions, or when scaling or fouling and plugging apparently occurs. Periodic water flushing and chemical dosing for cleaning can restore the performance of the membrane elements and extend their service life.
System in the short-term stop operation period, should be every 5 days flushing system, flushing after closing the valve to prevent scaling and clogging.
System out of operation for a long period of time (more than 30 days), add 1% sodium bisulfite solution to prevent bacterial propagation.
